SPECIFICATONS
- This accessory for a knapsack sprayer is for applying chemical ripening products onto the top of 2 rows of growing sugar cane.
- The accessory is constructed from aluminium tubing.
- The vertical dimension is 2.600m.
- One TK1.5 brass nozzle is fitted at the extremity of the boom on a swivel-action nozzle holder. The flat fan nozzle is angled slightly upwards and faced to spray behind the operator.
- Fluid is pumped from the knapsack at a constant pressure through 10mm clear reinforced plastic piping inserted within the aluminium piping to the nozzle.
- A ball valve situated at chest height controls the fluid to the nozzle.
- A leather fishing bucket is supplied to support the boom at a fixed height of some 3.300 metres above the sugar cane.

- This ripener boom is suitable for use on steep slopes where it will apply the ripener product onto two rows only.
- This boom could also be used for spraying herbicide over inaccessible drains and banks.
